I’m not a carpenterMy mother-in-law needed a new ramp built onto her house and I couldn’t build it but I knew someone that could, so I called him up and asked did he want the job and did. So I took my new Porter Cable tools with me and he knows I don’t use them so he laughed at me because I’m not a builder. But as he used them he had the biggest smile on his face, every cut with the circular saw was smooth and precise, the drills drove each screw and anchor perfectly flush to every board. He didn’t keep my tools and my pockets felt better also because he used my porter cable tools.

Great KitThis is a great kit. I’m starting to need more tools as I am doing more fixing and creating around the house. This kit has everything you need to get going. I love that it comes with two batteries and a charger. There is even a LED light! These tools are ready to go, sand paper for the sander and a blade for each saw. Be careful, they did put one of the blades in with the manual. The tool bag that comes with the kit is basic, no fancy extra pockets, but the great thing is all the tools and accessories fit! Easy to use. I am happy.

Great ProductThe Porter Cable 6-piece 20V max combo tool kit comes with a 5 ½” circular saw, a Reciprocating Saw, an Impact Driver, a Drill, an Oscillating Tool and a work light. It also comes with 2 batteries, a charger and a USB charging station the will connect 2 USB devices for charging.
The Circular saw comes with a wrench to install the blade and has fully adjustable shoe for both angle and depth. It comes with a carbide saw blade that cuts very well. The saw will cut wood up to the thickness of a 2×4. Battery life seems decent and will last for most small to medium jobs.
The drill has a key less and an adjustable torque collar for both drilling and screw driving. The drill takes all standard ½ inch drill bits and has a light just above the trigger. The ¼” impact bit driver works very well and will accept any ¼ inch drive bits. Both have an internal breaking system which seems to work well. Battery life for both the drill and the bit driver is very good.
The Oscillating Tool comes with 1 cutting blade and a detail sander with sanding pads and has a variable speed adjustment on the side of the unit. The sanding pads are standard size and easily available. The sanding head fits well and is very useful for tight places and small jobs. The cutting blade works well and can be placed on the oscillating head in several different positions. The battery life is good for both the cutting operation and sanding as well.
The Reciprocating Saw has a clip on the side for tool free blade installation. The unit comes with 1 blade and will accept any blades made for a reciprocating Saw and the blades are easily changed. The unit cuts very well and has plenty of power for most any job. Battery life is very good and no noticeable drop off of power while using it.
The Light that comes with the kit has a vertically adjustable head so it can be aimed were it is needed. The Charging adapter for USB devices works well and has an indicator showing the battery level when first attached to the battery. It works very well with the supplied charging cable that comes with your device. The battery charging unit that comes with the kit does a good job of charging the batteries and has an automatic system that will not over charge the batteries but will maintain them if left plugged in.
Overall I am very happy with the 6 piece tool kit from Porter Cable.

The tools are well made and the batteries last quite a long time. This set makes it a lot easier to work in places where there is no electricity or it is difficult or inconvenient to run a electrical cord like on a roof. We used this tool set to work on a storage room last weekend and the batteries outlasted our 10 hour day. The tools all worked great and got the job done. The only thing I can complain about is the bag is a little small and it is a fight to get everything in and the bag zipped but that is super minor and the tools are great in every way. The set even included blades to get started right away. Over all I am more than happy with this tool kit and expect to be using it for years to come.

Combo kit to eliminate the honey-doo listWith many upcoming household projects to do, the Porter Cable 20-Volt Max Lithium-Ion 6 Tool Combo Kit arrived in time. Packaging was standard and appropriate with no dents or damages. All items within were accounted for and carefully wrapped.
The design and feel of this combo kit is excellent with ergonomics in mind. All the work tools have a non-slip rubber grip feel to them to prevent mishandling while tools are in operation. I like the addition of LED lights on the tool that turn on automatically when in use, but it’s only on half of the tools in this combo kit. Not only does the light indicate tool is operating, but that extra shine on the project gives that extra clarity for improved craftsmanship. There is a dedicated portable LED worklight for jobs in reduced lighting which is basically a fancy flashlight, and is part of the 6 tool combo kit. Essentially this is a 5 tool combo kit as the worklight is more of an accessory than a tool. Another accessory is the USB power source with 2 inputs as well a gauge for indicating battery pack level. It would have been better if the battery gauge level was part of the battery pack itself like other brands I’ve used.
Overall, for the average household, this combo kit will be sufficient for accomplishing jobs around the house. It’s relatively lightweight, rugged, and most of all, the ergonomics that have been designed into these tools feels impressive. Definitely part of my go-to tackling the oncoming neverending honey-doo list.

Excellent tool kit for the priceI received this product in exchange for my honest review through the SparkReviewer program. As a female, I found these products to be sufficient for what I need them for which is just basic things around the house. I would expect that they probably wouldnt get the job done for larger projects but for small things around the house they work just fine. This is my first power tool set. This set comes with a drill driver, circular saw, reciprocating saw, flashlight, 2 batteries, a charger and a handy bag to keep all the tools in. I found it hard to put all the tools in at one time but maybe that was just me. Upon first charge, the batteries didnt take a long time to charge. I would say the normal amount of time which was about 4 hours. The batteries last a fairly long time before they need to be charged again, but that’s why you have another battery to rely on! I recommend this set for anyone that is looking for a basic set on a budget. This has all the tools that you will need.

Convenient portable kitWhen this first arrived the box was (understandably) super heavy. I was using this for a volunteer project and i was afraid afraid the weight would make it impossible to carry, bit once out of the box the bag itself was surprisingly easy to transport. This was good for a novice like me and got the stand of approval from others who work with tools all the time.
